Saturday 23 September 2017 – Saturday 07 October 2017
Opening Hours: Tue-Sat

Andelli Art is delighted to welcome West Country artists Malcolm Ashman and Janette Kerr back to the gallery, as part of the Somerset Art Weeks ‘Prospect’ Festival 2017. The exhibition will showcase the diversity and beauty of British landscapes and seascapes by these artists, juxtaposed with 20th Century works from the Andelli Art collection by Simon Palmer, Rudolf Sauter and Julian Trevelyan amongst others.

In placing Ashman and Kerr’s paintings alongside 20th Century works, the exhibition aims to challenge portrayals of landscapes and seascapes in relation to preconceived ideas, traditions and pictorial conventions.
