The Royal Cornwall Museum presents an exhibition examining the enduring practice of drawing the nude.

The show features Old Master drawings selected from the permanent collection by the painter and draughtsman Nicholas C Williams.

The exhibition also includes a number of drawings by Williams. This rare juxtaposition of works by a contemporary artist with those of revered Old Masters allows audiences to see how, over centuries, artists have conveyed and employed the nude in order to create a narrative or simply produce an image that allows us to reflect upon ourselves.

As part of the Royal Cornwall Museum’s Bicentenary, the exhibition highlights the museum's important collection of works on paper.
