'Future Giants' are large scale figure drawings in charcoal on canvas. The giants are members of a growing population of Heads of States - unreconstructed characters who, in the process of growing up, are investigating and exploring their interests and directions by clothing themselves as superheroes and other invented characters. To boost their egos. By dressing up they can strike a pose and take on a strength that they may not yet feel. They are 'Future Giants'.

Nicola Grellier studied at Wimbledon and Chelsea schools of art from 1984 - 88 and lives and works in Stroud.

This new body of work marks a big step in her craetive path to create work in response to the scale of the venue and is a physical response to the large scale walls of the malthouse.

Initiated and presented by SIT select for the Select Festival 2017.
