To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the founding of Bristol Drawing School (now RWA Drawing School), join sculptor Carol Peace, founder of the Drawing School, in conversation with Alison Bevan, Director of the Royal West of England Academy. Carol will discuss the importance of drawing in her artistic practice, both as an essential part of her creative process, and as a vital and inspiring art form in its own right.

The evening will reveal Carol’s original vision for the Drawing School, and a discussion of its evolution from 2011, when it moved to the RWA, and where it continues to offer a diverse programme of classes designed to develop drawing skills and explore techniques that are the natural progression of drawing.

Drinks reception and exhibition viewing from 6pm. In Conversation from 7pm.
