Make a life-sized or larger Chicken constructed, with the help of some simple moulds, using soft slabs of clay.

You will be able to colour your sculpture using slips and underglazes. Your work will be fired to stoneware, making it frost-proof. No experience with clay is necessary for this task.

Our specialist education studios provide a space for courses, workshops and parties at New Brewery Arts. We work with great tutors, each a professional maker in their own right, to lead our classes. Groups are small so you receive individual attention and you can work at your own pace. Lunch is included on full-day workshops for adults unless stated otherwise and tea and coffee is available in the studio at all times.
