Opening Hours: Various

Art Trek artists and makers extend a warm welcome to visitors to the 2017 North Devon Open Studios.

This successful and friendly event sets out to help artists and the public come together in the relaxed settings of the artists homes, studios, workshops and a variety of venues. Developing relationships between artists and visitors brings wonderful insights into the artists' ideas and their creating processes.

As well as being able to see and buy a broad range of original artworks, some of the artists and makers will be giving demonstrations, along with opportunities for you to join in a variety of workshops.

As many of the artists and makers spread across the area live in beautiful countryside, you may find yourself venturing off the beaten track sometimes, but this means you will discover delightful villages, hamlets and views you wouldn't normally come across!

Many artists will be offering tea as you chat with them about their art, so do take them up on this as it's a great way to find out more about them and the work as you relax together!

Art Trek puts no pressure on you to buy from the artists, but of course everyone is over the moon if you do decide to buy, or commission an original piece from them, and any transactions are solely between you and the artist concerned.

So, please look out for the Art Trek signs and try to visit as many artists and makers as you can during this three week event, enjoying the wide variety of venues on offer in Art Trek 2017.

Art Trek is organised by White Moose Projects CIC.

Full details of participating artists will be published on the website www.arttrek.co.uk very soon so please email info@arttrek.co.uk and we'll keep you updated.
