Independent School of Art (ISA)

Collectively run, the ISA is an active forum for critical discussion. It was founded in 2011 on the principle of free thinking against the backdrop of rising tuition fees for universities. The monthly lecture series has evolved through people’s enthusiasm for sharing their work. Previous talks have been given by artists, theorists, musicians and poets, and everyone is welcome to attend. If you would like to give a talk, or organise an event please contact us.
