Creative Skills / ACT

Creative Skills provides relevant and practical support to Cornwall based visual artists and designer makers / craftsmen, enabling the continuation of their professional development and encouraging entrepreneurship through access to additional skills, training and knowledge. It does this by being responsive to the needs of the sector; providing access to structured help with 'the planning' of an individual's professional development; sharing knowledge and promoting best practice and focussing on lifelong learning. Creative Skills also runs the annual Open Studios Cornwall event. The organisation is the Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Skills Ambassador for Creative and Cultural Skills National Skills Academy.
