Bridport & West Dorset Open Studios is an annual 9-day celebration of contemporary visual artists who live in Bridport and the surrounding countryside.  Started by artist Caroline Ireland in 1999, the event has grown over the years to become a distinctive showcase for the thriving West Dorset art scene.

This year’s renowned Open Studios event has moved to new dates, running 9th - 17th September. 78 of West Dorset’s finest Artists, Designers and Makers who invite you to explore their studios, galleries, and homes.
 
Pick up your FREE 48-page event Guide and explore the great wealth of talent in the towns, villages and hamlets across West Dorset to the Jurassic Coast, with helpful maps to local galleries and dozens of artists in their studios & homes. 
 

You’ll find a wide variety of art on display, from well-known names to emerging artists and keen new-comers. Whatever your taste in art, we're sure you'll find something to enjoy - whether it’s for investment, pleasure or simply to support the talented artists.
